Tratta Cuneo-Ventimiglia: Bonino, Mit accetti di spostare gli InterCity
“Dopo aver ribadito la strategicità della linea transfrontaliera Cuneo-XX Miglia nel bilaterale Italia-Francia, ora servono i fatti. A pochi giorni dal cambio orario l’unica certezza è che per rispettare il rallentamento imposto da RFF (velocità commerciale di 40km/h sui 51 chilometri da percorrere in territorio francese) Trenitalia può garantire solo un numero minimo di corse tra Cuneo e Ventimiglia. Per questo motivo, a seguito dei precedenti incontri fatti sul tema e nonostante dai ministeri non ci sia mai stata una risposta ufficiale alle nostre richieste, abbiamo formulato nelle ultime ore una proposta mirata, per far si che da Roma arrivi un aiuto concreto per il servizi minimi della Val Roya”.
Questo il commento deciso dell’assessore regionale ai trasporti ed infrastrutture della Regione Piemonte, Barbara Bonino, che ha spiegato come “L’idea sia quella di far spostare al Mit (nelle more del contratto universale tra il Ministero dei Trasporti e Trenitalia
Passeggeri) gli attuali chilometri percorsi dagli InterCity Torino–Genova esclusi i servizi su Salerno (4 coppie al giorno per 1328 chilometri) sulla Cuneo–Ventimiglia fino a Taggia. Gli InterCity tra i due capoluoghi di Regione, a partire dal cambio orario di dicembre, non serviranno quasi più a nulla. Infatti abbiamo potenziato quell’asse con sei treni in più, velocizzando proprio i nostri servizi regionali veloci. Da metà dicembre i servizi IC attuali saranno una falsa copia dei nostri treni regionali. In più vista la distanza diversa, se tra Torino e Genova corrono tutto l’anno 4 coppie di treni, in Val Roya potremmo addirittura arrivare a 5/6 coppie. Il tutto a saldo invariato”.
