Porto di Salerno: al via lo sdoganamento in mare
Anche al porto di Salerno arriva il “preclearing” per accelerare le operazioni di sdoganamento delle merci. E’ stato sottoscritto l’accordo per l’avvio della procedura di sdoganamento in mare da parte del Comandate della capitaneria di Porto Gaetano Angora e dal direttore provinciale dell’Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli Vito De Benedictis, del disciplinare di servizio rivolto a tutti gli operatori portuali, che vorranno usufruire delle facilitazioni introdotte dal nuovo sistema.
Il preclearing, sarà quindi possibile anche presso il porto di Salerno, agli operatori che la locale Agenzia delle Dogane ha già autorizzato, secondo precise e standardizzate modalità tecnologiche. L’attività, sarà disponibile grazie a sistemi satellitari e di radiolocalizzazione del traffico navale disponibili presso la Capitaneria di Porto che già garantiscono la sicurezza della navigazione e da oggi garantiranno anche la sicurezza doganale delle merci trasportate.
Quando la procedura sarà richiesta, si procederà al monitoraggio già in alto mare nel Mediterraneo, in modo da avere due giorni di vantaggio sui tempi di trasmissione per la convalida del manifesto doganale delle merci da sbarcare all’arrivo.
Si realizza così, informa la capitaneria di Salerno, l’accesso ad una sorta di binario ad alta velocità delle merci in importazione, che potrà garantire un vantaggio teorico di giorni sulla consegna delle merci sbarcate, con positive ricadute sulla redditività dei ridotti spazi del porto salernitano.
