Toninelli: no alle opere mastodontiche, meglio potenziare quelle piccole diffuse
“La cifra del nostro lavoro non sarà continuare a foraggiare grandi opere mastodontiche e dispendiose, ma dotare il Paese di una rete di tante piccole opere diffuse, che servano realmente ai cittadini. Penso alla manutenzione dei ponti e delle strade, alla creazione di varianti autostradali, alla riqualificazione del tessuto urbano”. Lo ha detto il ministro dei Trasporti, Danilo Toninelli, in audizione in commissione Lavori pubblici al Senato.
“Per una programmazione oculata delle opere, potenzieremo la project review affidata alla Struttura tecnica di missione, che ha il compito di analizzare tutti i progetti già in essere e quelli ancora da finanziare, secondo un’attenta analisi costi-benefici. Punteremo inoltre su una minore discrezionalità nella scelta delle priorità e su una maggiore capacità progettuale – ha aggiunto – per evitare in radice fenomeni di corruzione e di illegalità. Senza dimenticare l”esigenza di puntare sull”intermodalità e, quindi, di
spostare i fondi sul ferro; questo significa aumentare gli investimenti soprattutto sulle tratte regionali e migliorare la manutenzione della rete. Centrale sarà il nostro impegno per rendere più efficiente il servizio ferroviario e garantire, in particolar modo ai pendolari, viaggi puntuali, comodi e sicuri.
