Continental Truck lancia gli pneumatici HSL2+ e HDL2+
Nelle flotte di veicoli commerciali gli pneumatici dell’asse sterzante sono particolarmente importanti: infatti oltre il 35% delle richieste di sostituzione riguarda pneumatici di questo asse. Per questo Continental Truck ha ulteriormente sviluppato la sua Generazione 2 di pneumatici per lunghe percorrenze dei mezzi pesanti. I nuovi pneumatici della Generazione 2+ offrono un chilometraggio complessivo migliorato e presentano qualità di manovrabilità ottimizzate grazie alle nuove microlamelle nelle scanalature longitudinali. “Questi pneumatici saranno lanciati sul mercato in versione XL, in quattro varianti per l’asse anteriore di autocarri con una capacità di carico fino a 8 tonnellate”, ha dichiarato Bernd Korte, responsabile Ricerca & Sviluppo per i pneumatici per veicoli commerciali di Continental AG. I pneumatici di nuova concezione HDL2+ e HSL2+ rappresentano un’evoluzione della Generazione 2 lanciata dalla Continental nel 2010. Il nuovo battistrada dei pneumatici per lunghe percorrenze HSL2+ e HDL2+ migliora la manovrabilità del veicolo ed aumenta la resa chilometrica complessiva. Inoltre, per gli pneumatici per asse trattivo, HDL2+, è stata utilizzata una nuova miscela di gomma, che riduce la resistenza al rotolamento rispetto al modello precedente. Il battistrada è stato sviluppato in modo da assicurare una distribuzione ottimale della pressione nella superficie di contatto con il suolo e di conseguenza un elevato chilometraggio. (P.C.)
