Aeroporti di Roma in Cina: atteso incremento del traffico del 20% nel 2019
“Per il 2019 prevediamo un vero e proprio boom di passeggeri da e per la Cina con un incremento del traffico del 20% rispetto al 2018 e il superamento della soglia dei 900 mila passeggeri entro la fine dell’anno”. Lo ha detto l’amministratore delegato di Aeroporti di Roma, Ugo De Carolis, partecipando in Cina alla Fiera Internazionale del Turismo ITB China, la più importante fiera del mercato turistico cinese, insieme all’assessorato al turismo di Roma Capitale e al Convention Bureau Roma e Lazio sotto l’egida dell’Enit, l’Agenzia Nazionale Turismo Italiano. “Con dodici città della Greater China direttamente collegate, l’aeroporto di Roma, Leonardo da Vinci, si conferma tra i leader in Europa per numero di destinazioni servite e di vettori attivi – ha aggiunto -. Per il 2019 prevediamo, infatti, un vero e proprio boom di passeggeri da e per la Cina con un incremento del traffico del 20% rispetto al 2018 e il superamento della soglia dei 900 mila passeggeri entro la fine dell’anno”. Il legame tra Roma e la Cina, infatti, è sempre più stretto grazie ai nuovi collegamenti diretti con Hangzhou, Shenzhen e Chengdu che tra poche settimane saranno attivati dall’aeroporto Leonardo da Vinci. Gli oltre 900 mila passeggeri attesi da e per la Cina per il 2019 troveranno un aeroporto sempre più attento a costruire una “travel experience” totalmente dedicata alle loro specifiche esigenze. Alle numerose iniziative attive da tempo come: la segnaletica in lingua, la creazione di un sito web e dell’APP Rome Airports in cinese, l’apertura di un official account Wechat, la possibilità di pagamento con UnionPay, Alipay e WeChat Pay, si sommano nuove attività volte ad affermare in particolare la grande convenienza del luxury shopping aeroportuale, con la possibilità di acquistare risparmiando il 22% rispetto ai prezzi downtown.
