Volotea: via al nuovo volo Roma-Nantes
Al via da oggi il nuovo volo operato da Volotea da Roma alla volta di Nantes. La nuova rotta, che avrà 2 frequenze settimanali (ogni lunedì e venerdì), è il primo collegamento internazionale operato da Volotea al Leonardo da Vinci. Il vettore spagnolo ha debuttato presso lo scalo di Roma Fiumicino nell’ottobre del 2021, operando le rotte per Alghero, Cagliari e Olbia in regime di continuità territoriale con la Sardegna.
Presso il primo aeroporto romano, l’offerta di Volotea prevede un totale di 5 rotte, 3 domestiche e 2 verso la Francia: al collegamento per Nantes, si aggiungerà da fine maggio anche il nuovo volo per Strasburgo.
Durante il periodo estivo, la compagnia opererà nel suo network con una flotta fra i 41 e i 45 aeromobili (contro i 36 dell’estate 2019): il vettore, infatti, ha recentemente annunciato l’arrivo di 6 Airbus A320 aggiuntivi, tra cui 3 aeromobili stand-by che garantiranno l’integrità operativa.
In termini di volume, Volotea aumenterà la capacità dei posti di circa il 40% rispetto al 2019, quando la sua offerta era di 8 milioni di posti. La compagnia spagnola prevede di trasportare tra i 9 e i 9,5 milioni di passeggeri quest’anno, circa il 32% in più rispetto al suo record assoluto registrato nel 2019, quando i passeggeri trasportati sono stati 7,6 milioni.
