Il 13 maggio torna il Roma Drone Expo
Aprirà i battenti venerdì 13 maggio, sull’aeroporto di Roma Urbe, il Roma Drone Expo&Show 2016”, terza edizione del Salone aeronautico nazionale sui droni. A “Roma Drone Expo&Show 2016” sarà esposto il “Predator” dell’Aeronautica Militare in servizio presso il 32° Stormo di Amendola (Foggia) e utilizzato per missioni di osservazione strategica. Nello stand dell’Esercito, saranno invece visibili i piccoli droni ad ala fissa “Raven” e “Bramor”, utilizzati dal 41° Reggimento “Cordenons” di Sora (Frosinone). Durante i tre giorni della manifestazione, per la prima volta sarà possibile vedere un “Raven” in volo davanti al pubblico. Nell’area della Polizia di Stato, invece, saranno schierati tre droni utilizzati per le prime attività sperimentali dal Servizio Controllo del Territorio della Direzione Centrale Anticrimine: i multicotteri “Colibrì” e “FlyNovex” e l’ala fissa “FlySecur”. Anche questi droni potranno essere osservati in volo nel prossimo weekend sull’Aeroporto dell’Urbe. Alla manifestazione sarà presente pure la Croce Rossa Italiana, che ha avviato un ampio programma di impiego di droni per le missioni di soccorso in Italia e all’estero.
“I droni non sono solo dei sofisticati giocattoli tecnologici, ma possono svolgere missioni di grande importanza per la collettività, anche nel settore della sicurezza – ha sottolineato Luciano Castro, presidente di Roma Drone -. Durante la nostra manifestazione, sarà possibile conoscere meglio le tante applicazioni di queste macchine volanti, dalle videoriprese all’agricoltura, dall’osservazione del territorio al monitoraggio dell’ambiente e molte altre ancora. Un’altra novità riguarda le gare con mini-droni, che in tutto il mondo stanno suscitando un grande interesse. Domenica 15, infatti, organizzeremo la prima Convention nazionale degli appassionati di queste corse con i droni, che darà il via alle gare ufficiali che si svolgeranno nei prossimi mesi in tutta Italia”.
