Il governo indiano sceglie il Rafale come caccia multiruolo
Il governo indiano ha scelto il Rafale, della francese Dassault, per sostituire i 126 caccia multiruolo dell’Indian Air Force. Un duro colpo per l’Eurofighter e per le aziende europee che fanno parte del consorzio, Eads, Finmeccanica e BAE Systems, che hanno visto sfumare un contratto da oltre 10 milioni di dollari. Gli offsett industriali e gli altri dettagli non sono ancora stati resi noti. I primi 18 caccia saranno acquistati direttamente mentre i restanti saranno realizzati in partnership con un’azienda indiana. Il contratto in India rappresenta per il Rafale il primo ordine per l’esportazione e potrebbe avvantaggiarlo per le altre competizioni a cui sta partecipando, negli Emirati Arabi Uniti e in Brasile.
