Incontro Enac, Aci Europe e Assaeroporti sulle nuove sfide del trasporto aereo
Enac, Aci Europe e Assaeroporti si sono confrontate sulle sfide che attendono il settore aeroportuale in tema, fra l’altro, di investimenti, diritti aeroportuali, intermodalità e soprattutto di transizione ecologica del comparto aereo. All’incontro con il Presidente dell’Enac Pierluigi Di Palma hanno partecipato il presidente di Assaeroporti Carlo Borgomeo, il direttore generale di Aci Europe Olivier Jankovec, il direttore generale di Assaeroporti Valentina Lener e il vice direttore centrale economia e vigilanza Aaeroporti Maria Elena Taormina.
Il presidente dell’Enac ha sottolineato la necessità di individuare le strategie di sviluppo del comparto anche per tener conto delle novità strutturali determinate dal Covid e in generale degli obiettivi stabiliti dal Green New Deal. Di questi aspetti come di altri elementi, si terrà conto nella predisposizione del piano nazionale degli aeroporti a cui l’Enac sta lavorando.
Olivier Jankovec ha illustrato alcuni dati sulla situazione degli aeroporti europei, sulle prospettive di ripresa e sugli interventi necessari per rilanciare il settore. Dopo aver confermato l’impegno del sistema del trasporto aereo sui temi della sostenibilità, in linea con Net Zero e l’Airport Carbon Accreditation, ha evidenziato la necessità di reperire gli strumenti per garantire la realizzazione degli investimenti aeroportuali, tenuto conto della crescente pressione competitiva e della necessità di portare avanti contemporaneamente decarbonizzazione, digitalizzazione e maggiore connettività aerea.
Il presidente di Assaeroporti ha confermato che i gestori stanno portando avanti un’ampia attività di progettazione di investimenti, coerenti con i criteri della sostenibilità e della digitalizzazione e ha ribadito la necessità che tali interventi possano essere sostenuti anche con risorse pubbliche. Ha, infine, auspicato un sempre maggiore coinvolgimento di Assaeroporti nella definizione dell’aggiornamento del pano nazionale degli aeroporti.
