Oman Air inaugura un servizio di autotrasporto
Oman Air debutta nel cargo. La compagnia ha presentato il servizio di autotrasporto “Pan-Gcc Custom Bonded Truck”, che dal 1° giugno collegherà Muscat con Salalah e con altri aeroporti nei Paesi del Gulf Cooperation Council. Il “trucking service” sarà operato da M/s. Able Logistics Group (Oman) Llc, partner commerciale, che provvederà a garantire i collegamenti tra aeroporti, settore che la compagnia valuta come uno dei più importanti per lo sviluppo delle esportazioni e delle importazioni nel paese, garantito dall’efficienza e dalla velocità dei collegamenti. Able Logistic Group, che possiede reti di trasporto merci ben radicate nel Sultanato, è specializzata nel trasporto di merci soggette a dazio da aeroporto ad aeroporto e nel trasporto di cargo non soggetti a dazio all’interno del Gcc e del Medio Oriente.
Ampliando il suo attuale network di collegamenti attraverso l’autotrasporto, Oman Air collegherà in entrata e in uscita i propri hub di Muscat e Salalah con tutti i paesi del Gulf Cooperation Council, ovvero Emirati Arabi Uniti (aeroporti di Dubai, Sharjah e Abu Dhabi), Regno di Arabia Saudita (aeroporti di King Fahad Abdul Aziz Ad-Dammam, King Khalid Riyadh e King Abdul Aziz Jeddah), Kuwait (Kuwait International Airport), Bahrain (Bahrain International Airport) e Qatar (Doha International Airport). I mercati nazionali che verranno coperti dal servizio sono Salalah e Sohar, seguiti a breve da Adam, Nizwa, Duqm e Sur.
