Giubileo: Zingaretti, forte l’impegno della Regione sul fronte Tpl
Il rafforzamento della rete del trasporto pubblico è uno dei punti a cui la Regione Lazio sta lavorando per accogliere turisti e pellegrini in vista del Giubileo.
Il Presidente della Regione Lazio, Nicola Zingaretti, durante la seduta odierna in consiglio regionale dedicata proprio al Giubileo, ha spiegato: “L’intervento che abbiamo programmato rafforzerà ulteriormente il lavoro che in questi due anni e mezzo abbiamo fatto per il rinnovamento di Cotral e per il potenziamento del servizio ferroviario nell’area metropolitana di Roma”.
Gli interventi riguardano anche la rete dei cammini spirituali, di cui Zingaretti ha illustrato il potenziamento e la valorizzazione: “Vogliamo offrire, a partire dai cammini del Lazio, un’esperienza accessibile alle diverse tipologie di viaggiatori provenienti da tutto il mondo, in termini di servizi e di infrastrutture. Il nostro intervento – ha spiegato il governatore – si è quindi concentrato in particolare sulla promozione e messa in sicurezza delle principali vie religiose che arrivano a Roma: la via Francigena, il Cammino di Francesco, il Cammino di San Benedetto. Per le ultime due – ha concluso – è stato anche attivato il protocollo d’intesa sottoscritto con la Regione Umbria”.
