Pedaggi: aumenti del 200% per l’autotrasporto
E’ questo quanto stabilito dalla direttiva europea Eurovignette votata oggi dal Consiglio dei Ministri dei Trasporti UE con la ferma opposizione del Governo italiano. Gli aumenti dovrebbero scattare in caso di transiti all’interno della fascia oraria di intenso traffico (non ancora identificata ma non più ampia di 5 ore) e andrebbero a coprire i costi legati all’uso delle infrastrutture, alla congestione stradale e all’inquinamento acustico. Esentati i veicoli Euro 5 ed Euro 6, mentre l’applicazione del provvedimento ai veicoli tra 3,5 e 12 tonnellate è a discrezione dei singoli Paesi. Ferma la protesta da parte delle associazioni di categoria dell’autotrasporto, tra cui Confartigianato Trasporti e Anita, che tra l’altro denunciano la mancata previsione sull’utilizzo di questi fondi, dirottabili quindi su altre modalità.
I risultati del Consiglio dei ministri di oggi – con la posizione contraria di Italia, Spagna e Irlanda, l’astensione dell’Olanda e la posizione favorevole di Francia e Austria – andrà ora al vaglio del Parlamento europeo.
