Ups: corrieri pronti alla sfida del Natale
Dipendenti Ups al lavoro come gli elfi di Babbo Natale per le festività natalizie. Obiettivo: garantire la consegna puntuale in tutto il mondo. L’azienda ha messo in atto il piano di reclutamento per 50000 lavoratori stagionali, al fine di consegnare in tempo i 430 milioni di pacchi che viaggeranno in tutto il mondo. Previsti incrementi di oltre il 60%, non solo in forma di regali di Natale, ma anche con rifornimenti per gli scaffali delle aziende che in questo periodo sono presi d’assalto.
Grazie alla logistica e al network collaudato di Ups le consegne saranno garantite nei soliti tempi, ed è possibile sia per il mittente che per il ricevente monitorare la posizione del proprio pacco in ogni momento. L’azienda è in grado di accontentare anche chi ha bisogno di spedire pacchi all’ultimo minuto: grazie ai servizi express di Ups è possibile richiedere l’ultimo ritiro giovedì 23 dicembre, avendo la garanzia della consegna per il 24 dicembre.
Si prevede che il giorno più caldo per la movimentazione sarà il 23 dicembre, momento in cui la Ups prevede di consegnare 44 milioni di tracking.
Per assicurare la consegna puntuale nel periodo più intenso dell’anno, Ups Airlines aggiungerà oltre 350 voli al giorno durante la settimana di picco, che coincide con i cinque giorni precedenti a sabato 25 dicembre.
