Toscana, Anas: E78 Grosseto-Fano, aperto nuovo tratto
L’Anas ha aperto al traffico un nuovo tratto a quattro corsie della strada statale 223 “di Paganico”, nell’ambito dei lavori di ammodernamento del tronco Grosseto-Siena, parte dell’itinerario E78 Grosseto-Fano. Il nuovo tratto è lungo 7,3 chilometri, tra le località di Paganico e Civitella Marittima, nel comune di Civitella Paganico (GR).
Alla cerimonia di inaugurazione hanno partecipato il Sindaco del Comune di Civitella Paganico, Paolo Fratini, il Presidente della Provincia di Grosseto, Leonardo Marras; l’Assessore alle Infrastrutture, Viabilità e Trasporti della Regione Toscana, Luca Ceccobao; l’Arcivescovo di Siena-Colle Val d’Elsa-Montalcino, Mons. Antonio Buoncristiani e l’Amministratore Unico dell’Anas, Pietro Ciucci.
“Con il tratto che abbiamo aperto oggi – ha affermato l’Amministratore Unico dell’Anas, Pietro Ciucci – abbiamo superato la metà dei chilometri previsti nel progetto di ammodernamento della tratta Grosseto-Siena, sulla quale l’Anas sta investendo circa 800 milioni di euro tra lotti completati, in corso e programmati. Nel corso di quest’anno inizieranno anche i lavori del cosiddetto maxi lotto, attualmente in progettazione esecutiva, che comprende i lotti 5, 6, 7 e 8, per un’estensione di 11,5 km nei Comuni di Civitella Paganico e Monticiano. Nell’ambito del progetto in questione è previsto il raddoppio di un viadotto lungo 800 metri e alto oltre 100, per un impegno complessivo di oltre 271 milioni di euro. Restano, pertanto, ancora da avviare i lavori su due soli lotti (il quarto e il nono), per i quali la progettazione è ultimata ed è stata avviata la procedura di finanziamento presso il Cipe”.
Con l’inaugurazione si portano a termine due lotti contigui per complessivi 17 km che comprendono anche l’adeguamento della viabilità accessoria e complanare e la realizzazione del nuovo svincolo di Paganico per un investimento complessivo di oltre 111 milioni di euro. Dei 17 km complessivi, circa 7 km, che si aprono al traffico oggi, fanno parte del lotto 3°, mentre i restanti 9 km , compresi nel lotto n. 2, sono stati aperti al traffico nel 2008 ed oggi tale lotto viene completato con l’apertura al traffico dello svincolo di Paganico. La sezione stradale del nuovo tratto ammodernato è composta da quattro corsie da 3,5 metri ciascuna, due banchine laterali da 1,75 metri e uno spartitraffico centrale da 1,10 metri, per una larghezza complessiva di quasi 19 metri. I lavori hanno riguardato anche la realizzazione della viabilità accessoria e complanare, che assicura la continuità dei flussi di traffico locale a servizio dei centri abitati e delle attività produttive della zona.
“Oltre all’evidente beneficio in termini di riduzione dei tempi di percorrenza e innalzamento degli standard di sicurezza lungo l’itinerario Grosseto-Siena – ha aggiunto Pietro Ciucci – le opere che oggi apriamo al traffico, avranno importanti benefici diretti anche sulla viabilità interna e sulla qualità della vita delle comunità locali”.
