Porti: Puglia, nasce Apulian Ports
A Bari alla presenza del presidente della Regione Puglia, Nichi Vendola, nasce Apulian Ports, l’associazione dei porti di Puglia cui hanno dato vita le Autorità portuali pugliesi del Levante, di Taranto e di Brindisi. Alla cerimonia di costituzione hanno partecipato l’assessore regionale alle Infrastrutture e mobilità, Guglielmo Minervini, e i presidenti delle tre Ap Francesco Mariani, Hercules Haralambides e Sergio Prete. Il primo presidente dell’associazione porti di Puglia è Haralambides, resterà in carica per un anno; poi toccherà agli altri due.
“E’ giunto il momento per i nostri porti di fare sistema, di metterci insieme, di smetterla di sgambettarsi reciprocamente provando a sottrarre piccole quote di traffico, piuttosto che, con un’azione sinergica, costruire le condizioni per intercettare le grandi rotte del traffico su cui il grande mercato globale si sta ristrutturando. Da questa consapevolezza è nata App”, ha dichiarato l’assessore alle Infrastrutture e Mobilità della Regione Puglia, Guglielmo Minervini, a proposito di Apulian Ports l’associazione, che riunisce le tre autorità portuali di Brindisi, Taranto e del Levante (Bari, Barletta e Monopoli).
“App segna una nuova stagione, che proprio come le applicazioni per i dispositivi mobili, che volutamente evoca, ha potenzialmente illimitati ambiti di sviluppo”, ha aggiunto.
