Appalti truccati: Trenitalia sarà parte civile
Le Ferrovie dello Stato intervengono sull’inchiesta fiorentina che ieri ha portato all’arresto di 16 persone tra dipendenti e funzionari di Trenitalia e Sepsa. In relazione alla fornitura di materiali e servizi che vede coinvolta la struttura tecnica di Trenitalia di viale Spartaco Lavagnini a Firenze, il Gruppo rende noto che da tempo è stata avviata un’attività di profonda verifica dei processi, in modo particolare quelli relativi all’affidamento degli appalti. “L’attività svolta – si legge in una nota – ha portato alla luce irregolarità nelle procedure di affidamento per le quali già nel febbraio 2007 un primo dirigente di Trenitalia è stato allontanato dalla società. Le attività di trasparenza avviate hanno di fatto portato nel 2009 allo scioglimento dell’Ucrifer (Unione Costruttori e Riparatori Ferroviari), cioè l’associazione di rappresentanza dei fornitori del settore ferroviario”.
Negli ultimi anni, fanno sapere le Fs, sono stati allontanati ben 39 dirigenti e 10 quadri di Trenitalia e circa 100 ditte sono state cancellate dal sistema di qualificazione. E’ stata limitata la partecipazione alle gare solo alle imprese direttamente produttrici di beni e servizi e dal 2009 è stato interdetto l’accesso a tutti gli intermediari.
Inoltre, il 15 febbraio 2010 le strutture di security e audit del Gruppo Fs avevano formalmente segnalato, nel massimo riserbo, alla Polizia Ferroviaria di Firenze, di essere venute a conoscenza di presunte attività illecite condotte da proprio personale nell’affidamento e gestione di appalti, assicurando nel contempo ogni disponibilità e collaborazione alle indagini. Il successivo 17 febbraio lo stesso ad Mauro Moretti, aveva pubblicamente denunciato l’assenza di trasparenza parlando di un “cancro da estirpare”. Da qui l’allontanamento di dirigenti e quadri. Ora Trenitalia si costituirà in giudizio come parte civile per tutelare i propri interessi e ottenere il risarcimento dei danni.
